About ICMS

The Infocomm Competency Management System (ICMS) is an online system for the management of IDA's training incentive programmes, such as Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme (CITREP), Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe) and Hybrid Skills Development Programme (HSP).

The ICMS will be used by the following stakeholders:
  1. Employers and Infocomm Professionals
    1. To plan their training and professional development programmes with NICF aligned courses and certifications; and,
    2. To obtain funding support based on the available training incentive programmes.
  2. Course Providers and Certification Owners
    1. To guide the design of courses and certifications;
    2. To submit the courses and certifications for alignment to NICF for greater quality assurance in training and assessments; and,
    3. To seek endorsement and accreditation of their courses and certifications for funding support.

ICMS is also integrated with the National Infocomm Compentency Framework (NICF) Portal to provide a seamless navigational experience for users with information on the types of competencies required for various infocomm jobs. The information provided in the portal also helps the professional develop training strategies to acquire these skills through the accredited and endorsed course providers.
